The successful Austria House project is celebrating an analogue comeback at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The Montsouris Pavilion is a historic location, the adjacent park a crowd-puller - and both will be the red-white-red hot spot in the Olympic host city starting July 25th 2024.
In its more than 50-year history, Austria House has already been housed in a wide variety of locations. In the traditional Trinity House in London, in the Botafogo Clubhouse in Rio de Janeiro, in purpose-built wooden houses or tent constructions and most recently twice in the virtual world as a contact point for the red-white-red Olympic community. For the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the Montsouris pavilion in the 14th arrondissement was chosen.
The Montsouris Pavilion will have various areas for guests from the worlds of sports, tourism, business, politics and media. In addition to the VIP area, there will also be a public hospitality area where guests from all over the world can enjoy Austrian hospitality, cuisine and culture. There will also be a media lounge for press conferences, a studio with interview positions for The Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), as well as national and international TV stations. Thanks to the good public transport connections, the sports venues are quickly and easily accessible for red-white-red Olympic fans.
